At 11am yesterday, history was made at The Deniliquin Respiratory Clinic in George Street with the first Covid-19 Vaccine being administered to an Emergency Service Personnel.

Eligibility for the vaccine can be found on healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility.

Practice Manager at Deniliquin clinic, Sarah Campbell says "The vaccination clinic has been run off its feet since beginning".

The vaccine arrived in Deniliquin last Friday (19/3/211).

Campbell says "Getting a vaccine to Deniliquin has been a long time in the making".

The clinic has been extremely busy since starting administration of the vaccine.

Campbell "urges the community to continue being patient during this busy time".
