How fireproof are your fire safety plans?
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service is asking Southern Riverina locals how fireproof their fire safety plans are, as part of their latest campaign ahead of summer.
The new Prepare, Act, Survive campaign comes after new figures show more than half of people have not prepared their property in any way for a bushfire.
Member for Murray Austin Evans joined in promoting the message yesterday saying locals need to seriously prepare and plan ahead to avoid potential disaster, especially after this year's dry winter.
The statewide campaign is being rolled out across all major media platforms this week.
