Environment Minister visits frustrated River & Border communities in Southern NSW
Australian Liberal Party politician, Minister for Environment, Sussan Ley recently embarked on a 3 day tour across the river and border communities of Southern NSW.
The 3 day campaign saw locals expressing their pain and frustration concerning the New Years Eve Victorian border closure.
Minister Ley says there is an urgent need to reshape the future of border closures, in order to create a sense of comfort amongst those affected.
Discussions around tourism campaigns that aim to boost the local economy was also a major focus of the meetings.
